Got anything planned for June? How about this weekend? Here are five things happening across the Coast this month that you don’t want to miss.
Drive-in to drive out alcohol violence
Drive on down to the PCYC this Friday for an action packed night with a free drive-in screening of The Avengers. The event has partnered with Queensland Police to raise awareness of alcohol fuelled violence, so it’s an alcohol free night.

A feast for the eyes and the belly
The Caloundra Arts Centre Association is running their popular Arts & Crafts Fair. Featuring pottery, woodwork, art, homemade lace, quilting, embroidery, jewelry and silk painting and baked goods. Admission is free.

The best show in town
The annual Sunshine Coast Agricultural Show is celebrating 110 years of action. The show is a great family day out with everything from animals and wood cutting competitions to fireworks and rides. Entry is $10 for adults, and $5 for children.

Take a trip to the old days
The Downunder Beachfest is five days packed with retro car action. On show are hot rods, motorbikes, vintage caravans and any pre-1983 creation. Relive the retro days with sounds like The Dirty Dukes, Old 45’s, Billy Guy, and Z28. Most of the action is at the heart of Caloundra, but the whole Coast is getting involved, so prepare to take a cruise.

Best of the NamJam buskers
The top three winners from the NamJam busking and street performance competiton are back for the NamJam SideShow. The three hour concert will feature performances by The Dennis Sisters, Euphoria Under Fire and Dan Horne. The street will also be filled with family fun.
