The Buderim Men’s Shed is more than just a collection of gardening tools and mismatched nuts and bolts. It’s a second home to more than 200 local men, who come together to share life skills and work on community projects.
Its hallways and workshops are filled with the smells of sawdust and freshly brewed tea, an odd but nonetheless comforting combination. Ask any of its members and they will tell you: “the concept of the Men’s Shed is for men to combat the blues – old souls never die”.
